I'm also a member of another site with challenges. I am of the same way of thinking a cookiemom. I have been looking and snagging freebies from digiscrap for awhile now and I've joined up a few days ago and have started to post my own freebies to share. I'm not a professional designer by any means but love to share with all those who are also generous. I love doing challenges and would love to participate in some that the winners are picked by merit rather than how many friends you have.

I say bring em on and I'm ready and waiting for it to arrive.

I must add that this style of forum is new to me and I get a little lost of if I do something wrong please tell me

wahoo just found the edit button...what a blessing

I've only really started to get into challenges now that I'm designing my own freebies...I love the colour challenges at DSO, SAS and RAKScraps where they give you a palette and/or a theme and ask you to design a layout or mini-kit...this has really helped me stretch and learn to do new things.

So if there are going to be more challenges, could there be some aimed at us novice designers???? Maybe more experienced designers might be willing to host challenges and offer a little advice each month?  That would be brilliant!

Hi all. I, too am new here. I have been getting "freebies" from here for about a month, in hopes of creating my Mother In Law a "Memory Book" for Christmas. I knew NOTHING about this but, I read a lot and feel I have learned a lot -in creating pages I want for the book.

I have looked at challenges and wanted to do some-but I feel I am "too new". Some are just plain complicated! I would love to at the very least show off what I have done with some WONDERFUL artists' work. I always say thank you ... But, I would like to carry it one step further and SHOW appreciation.

On one site I seen where they were doing a challenge on a word ... Love, Peace - Earth ... whatever. I thought that was kind of neat. But you had to buy one of their Kits to make it.

Thanks for listening and I apologize for rambling. Hopefully I can do a challenge here one day!

Cheryl
